For Architects

Our View
Our relationship with an architect begins with a mutual understanding of and appreciation for reclaimed materials. We keep an open mind as you share with us your vision and project design; our role is to provide you with a product that brings your ideas to life. We welcome fresh and bold ideas that challenge us to make the impossible happen. Our experience in the log and timber construction industry allows us to work closely with you to provide quality one-of-a-kind details for your residential or commercial project. There is no end to the creative uses possible for our antique materials and we have proven to consistently exceed expectations with our attention to detail in customer service, design and the finished product.

Our Commitment
With an inventory of over 50 log and timber structures, we have a prime selection of a variety of materials that we independently dismantle. This allows us to hand select the highest quality material that meets your exact specifications and gives you, our customer, the best possible product at a fair price. It has been, is, and always will be our highest priority to deliver your material on-time and for our contracted price to ensure your project is kept on schedule and within budget.

The Difference
There are hundreds of material brokers throughout the U.S. and thousands more trying to sell reclaimed wood. We have a firm belief that we are much different in that we offer the following:
  • Years of experience preparing reclaimed material take-offs; we can either use drawings in print form or CAD files you provide.
  • Itemized estimates that eliminate any discrepancies or unknowns before a project is ever signed. The estimate we provide will individually list the specifications for each piece of material, including location within the project, length, width, thickness, board footage, number of faces/edges with original patina (if applicable), texture, species, shop drawings (if applicable), shipping date as well as a price that we will hold true to.
  • A CAD drawing detailing all members we have estimated.
  • A map that clearly identifies and labels each piece to ensure a quick and accurate final assembly on-site by your contractor.
  • Detailed shop drawings for any aesthetic or structural members that are pre-built in our shop. This allows you to view our work and make any necessary revisions before a single piece of material is cut.

The Results
It is a common misconception that the extra steps we take would result in higher prices, but the opposite is true. By clearly understanding the initial design, finding the right material, and clarifying all necessary details, we get the project done right the first time. Our comprehensive estimating process ensures that our customers are fully satisfied and become repeat customers.  There is no greater value than a happy customer.
